X-MAS COFFEE - Mexico Lekil lum VÁNOČNÍ SPECIÁL 250g
This regional coffee comes from members of the Siembra Abundante cooperative in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, southern Mexico. Farmers in this region usually cultivate 1-2 hectares of land at altitudes between 1,100 and 1,350 m above sea level. The standard varieties in San Cristobal are Marsellesa, Costa Rica, Typica and Caturra. The name "Lekil-lum" translates to "healthy land" in the original Tzeltal language. Coffee is the most important commercial crop in the Chiapas region and has a long history here. San Cristobal de las Casas improved their processing over the years, resulting in a high-quality coffee typified by a very clean cup. When our famous roaster Vašek put his hands to it, the result was a perfect Christmas coffee with notes of sweet gingerbread, green apple and walnut. Just the right thing for Christmas.
